What is thread lift?  Face Lift

A thread lift is a type of procedure in which temporary sutures are used to create a thin but visible “lift” in the skin. Instead of surgically removing the patient’s loose facial skin, the (non-surgical) cosmetic surgeon suspends it by suspending only parts of it. This has the effect of slightly pulling back the skin and thus lifting and tightening the face. There is no need for the patient to undergo surgery and suffer. Threads, besides being ideal for lifting the skin, stop aging in another way. by triggering the body’s “healing response” and causing the body to direct massive surges of collagen to the treated areas. This is important because of the vital role collagen plays in the aging process.

What are the advantages of a thread lift instead of a face lift?

For many patients, the major advantage of a thread lift over a face lift is that the recovery time associated with thread lifts is greatly reduced. A patient undergoing facelift surgery should be heavily anesthetized; therefore, the patient must take leave from the workplace for about 2 weeks and someone else needs to look after him.

On the other hand, recovering from a thread uninstaller is relatively easy and painless. Thread stretching procedures can be performed under local anesthesia rather than general anesthesia, so thread stretching patients can go home and take care of themselves immediately after the procedure. While some patients will experience some pain, redness and swelling after thread lift surgery and will therefore want to take the rest of the day off, most can return to work immediately. Strong pain medications are rarely needed after thread lift, making it easier for patients to return to their normal routines. This procedure is therefore more preferred.

Although the healing with thread lift is not particularly intense, patients will still need to take a few minor precautions during recovery. It is important to be careful not to rub vigorously when cleansing or applying moisturizer to your face for at least a week after placing the threads. You also need to take care of your face while you sleep.
